ME
ANNABELLE WACHTEL is an Actor, Singer, Playwright, Director, and Dancer originally from New York City.
Annabelle’s plays “Le Bruit de L’Ennui” & "À La Table" had a staged reading off-Broadway at the MCC Theater in NYC.
Annabelle is currently on Hulu as a recurring character in the television show “UP HERE” directed by Tommy Kail, written & run by Steven Levenson, music by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
Annabelle has also directed several short films, including “Plantman” and was a lead actor in the short film “Sunday with Monica”.
She performed off-Broadway at The Atlantic Theater in NYC in “The Bedwetter” written by Sarah Silverman & Joshua Harmon and directed by Anne Kauffman.
In 2022, Annabelle played the lead in the musical “When Zaydeh Dances on Eldridge Street” at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.
Annabelle got her start at the age of 9 when she was cast in “The National Tour of Annie” by Martin Charnin, the creator of the Broadway Musical “Annie”. She travelled to 33 US states as well as Canada and performed more than 162 times the role of Molly for 6 months.
At the age of 10, Annabelle made her Broadway debut in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “School of Rock” playing at the Winter Garden Theater in NYC. She performed 8 shows a week for almost 12 months and played the role of Marcy.
Annabelle first appeared on Television at just 11 years old when she guest starred as Charlotte Kensington opposite Michael Weatherly on the holiday episode of the CBS show “Bull”.
